Delete your Shortlist account

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open the Shortlist app and sign in.
2. Go to your Profile, then open Settings (the gear icon).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your account and associated data are permanently removed.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you:

support@shortlist.watch

Include the email address or username tied to your account. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile (name, username, email, phone number, profile photo, bio, preferences).
• Your rankings, watchlist, reviews, notes, comments, and lists.
• Your follows, followers relationships, and activity history.
• Device identifiers and analytics identifiers tied to your account.

What may be retained

We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, and aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer be linked to you. Backups are purged on a rolling basis, typically within 90 days.
