Mission: Impossible is best watched in release order. The first four films mostly stand alone, each with a different director, but from Rogue Nation onward the series tells one continuous story: Ilsa Faust and Solomon Lane carry through Fallout, and the two-part finale of Dead Reckoning and The Final Reckoning reaches all the way back to the 1996 original. Start there and watch straight through.
