The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

The most profitable film in the saga is the one this tier list ranks last. New Moon returned 14.20 times its budget, the best in the franchise by a wide margin, because it was still made at sequel prices ($50.0M) while playing to the audience the first film had just built. It is also, by common consent and by ours, the weakest of the five. Popularity and quality are not the same measurement, and this franchise is the cleanest example of the gap you will find.
The other thing the table shows is how little separates these films to the people who actually watch them.
